SecuriCare Soft Restraint Mitts Course

SecuriCare have developed an alternative mechanical restraint system which secures a person's arms to prevent them injuring themselves or someone else. The VIP-R Soft Mitt can be used to assist in the transportation of a person, to administer a medical/clinical procedure, or simply as an alternative to prolonged physical restraint. This course should be preceded with training in the prevention and management of challenging and hazardous behaviour and physical intervention training.
