Preventing and Managing Challenging and Hazardous Behaviour Course (Restraint Reduction Network Standards 2020)
SecuriCare is one of a small number of elite training providers Certified to deliver training that meets the requirements of the Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) Standards 2020. This initial course is aimed at staff supporting and caring for Adults and young people who may present behaviors of concern. The aim of the course is to reduce the use of restrictive interventions by focusing on the primary and preventative strategies that help manage the functions and causes of distressed behaviours. The training is person-centred and underpinned by Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). This training programme is available as a classroom based training session with online support pre and post training. (2-5 days duration)
