Safeguarding Awareness Week, taking place from 19–25 May 2025, is a national initiative dedicated to promoting what it means for children and young people to feel truly safe both in school and online.

Led by leading safeguarding professionals, the week brings together schools, pastoral leads and training providers to share knowledge, resources and strategies that ensure safety is more than just a policy, it’s a culture.
