Disengagement (Breakaway) Training (Classroom)
SecuriCare provide training to help reduce any further escalation in physical threat by responding positively to low level physically hazardous behaviours. Staff are taught low arousal techniques that allow them to release themselves from grabs and holds and so reduce anxiety and distress and the risk of harm.
All physical interventions are fully risk assessed and a video library of your chosen skill set is available online to access all year round. This invaluable resource aids care planning, supports staff and management and provides clarity for external audit.
