Lone workers face a greater risk of harm from workplace hazards due to the nature of their work.This booklet is designed to help lone workers, and their employers, to risk assess the working conditions and situation they may encounter and provide guidance to create the safest possible working environment. The reader will learn about; dynamic risk assessment, avoidance and management strategies, conflict management, de-escalation and positive resolution, and personal safety.
