Design Your Own TrainingHide Introduction
High quality staff training forms the central part of any organisations drive to managing the risk of challenging, disruptive or violent behaviour. SecuriCare have a great deal of experience in designing and delivering training that will enable staff to respond safely, effectively and lawfully to such behaviour.
The most frequently requested training programmes include:
- Conflict management or conflict resolution training (how to prevent conflict and reduce anger)
- Disengagement or breakaway skills (how to respond positively to physically challenging behaviours)
- Physical interventions or restraint skills (how to safely guide, hold or restrain violent or disruptive service users)
In certain sectors accredited training programmes exist. Where a specific sector prescribes such a programme, Securicare can supply this programme. This of course doesn't stop you adding 'additional material'. For example, if you work in the NHS, there is a Conflict Resolution training programme set down by the SMS (Security Management Service). We can support this programme with additional modules of training on personal safety for lone workers or disengagement/breakaway techniques where required.

If you wish to design your own training programme, use the Training Constructor to create your own unique programme.
The Training Constructor is simple and straight forward to use. You will be asked to complete a maximum of four sections that require you to tick the appropriate boxes to identify the content that you require. You do not have to select modules from all four sections, simply choose those that suit your needs. As soon as you are happy with the programme content simply click on submit to receive a training specification and quotation. (Most quotations will be sent out within 48 hours).
