Skills Update Course
This programme has been developed for:
Staff who already hold a current First Aid at Work Certificate.
The skills/update course allows candidates to practice skills already learnt and receive up to date First Aid protocols.
It is advised that First Aiders attend at least one update course per annum within the three year period.
The aim of this programme is:
To allow candidates the opportunity to practice their First Aid skills so that they are always prepared for an emergency.
The topics covered include:
- The course is tailored made to meet the needs of the delegates attending.
- Basic Life Support/CPR
Method of delivery and assessment:
There are no formal assessments during the course, however the instructor will continually assess the candidates participating in the practical skills.
Duration of training:
Approx 4 hours.
Accreditation is available via:
Continous assessment by trainer, candidates will recieve a certificate of attendance.
