To develop staff knowledge and skills required to supervise a team.

This programme will provide individuals with the essential knowledge to:

  • Lead a team and explain Leadership behaviour and management styles
  • Maximise commitment and empowerment to team building
  • Explain communication and different forms of Communication
  • Manage time effectively
  • Demonstrate how to appraise and give constructive feedback
  • Explain ‘the stress response’ and how they perform under pressure
  • Conduct a formal interview

Method of delivery and assessment:

Formal presentation, group work, practical exercises and discussion.

Learner’s knowledge is evidenced by verbal or written questioning.

Duration of training:

1 day to 2 days depending on a clients unique requirements.
