The aim of this programme is:
To develop staff knowledge and skills required to supervise a team.
The topics covered include:
This programme will provide individuals with the essential knowledge to:
- Lead a team and explain Leadership behaviour and management styles
- Maximise commitment and empowerment to team building
- Explain communication and different forms of Communication
- Manage time effectively
- Demonstrate how to appraise and give constructive feedback
- Explain ‘the stress response’ and how they perform under pressure
- Conduct a formal interview
Method of delivery and assessment:
Formal presentation, group work, practical exercises and discussion.
Learner’s knowledge is evidenced by verbal or written questioning.
Duration of training:
1 day to 2 days depending on a clients unique requirements.
