Candidates’ knowledge is assessed using a multiple-choice test, which is designed to ensure that the course text must be read and absorbed. Any written material resulting from the activities can be shown to the candidates’ QCF assessor to help them meet the knowledge specifications of the relevant unit

The course is mapped to meet all of the knowledge specifications of the following QCF Units:

It does not provide workplace instruction and assessment, which will need to be carried out by a senior staff member in the workplace before the worker can be judged competent to assist with medication
