Quick Overview

The Securicare Disruptive Passenger Restraint System is designed to safely restrain a violent passenger in a seat in a normally seated position allowing onward travel to the intended destination or to divert. The ASR608 Disruptive Passenger Restrain kit forms part of an overall approach to passenger restraint and is designed for use in the unique environment of an aircraft. This system and the ASR608 have been used on many occasions in real life restraints and have provided crew with the necessary training and equipment to manage extremely difficult situations successfully.



Airline staff (or staff working within aviation or airport settings) who interact with passengers who may express challenging, threatening or physically aggressive behaviour.

In particular staff who have a foreseeable risk of encountering physical violence, possibly because passengers may experience the effects of alcohol, drugs or mental health problems.


To enable staff to reduce the risk of escalation during the initial stages of a physical encounter, change position, step back or move away from potential danger.
