Meet the Team > Chris Knight
National Training Manager

Head of Health & Social Care
Working in the health & social care sector , Chris began as a care assistant working with adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs and severe challenging behaviour. Over the years Chris has worked in a number of different roles ranging from Home Manager to Behavioural Support and Interventions Manager to a Senior Operations Manager responsible for over 45 services for both Adults and Children as well as a school and day services.
As a Senior Operations Manager he was involved in the opening and development of new services as well as being responsible for a team of Home Managers, Regional Operations Managers and Therapy team.
Chris also had operational responsibility for a SEN registered school providing education and support to around 15 children with special needs. Some of the core values he sought to fulfill were the necessity for services to provide individualised care and support enabling people to live rich and fulfilling lives, by supporting them to achieve their own personal aims and wishes.
Over a number of years Chris has worked with many individuals helping services to develop specific beahvioural management plans where behaviours present as unsafe and challenging to the service. This also has enabled staff to design care packages which would identify areas of need and how staff will support them.
Chris has now brought his considerable expertise to SecuriCare. Within the team he is responsible for the research, development and delivery of all aspects of Health and Social Care Training for SecuriCare. He is responsible for the development of individual care plans and intervention strategies and guidance. He ensures that Securicare conforms to all current legislation and guidance and that all training is delivered in-line with national best practice and to the highest possible standards.
